EMS Europe aims to rethink the traditional structure and execution of conference programs. Therefore, we have introduced our new concept EMS Labs, which will form the foundation for the third day of the EMS2027 congress in Kilarney.
To be eligible to apply for an EMS Lab, you must be registered for the congress. Applications from individuals who are not registered will not be considered.
Call for EMS Lab session
We invite you and your team or organisation to organise an EMS Lab. The organising committee of EMS2027 offer you and your team a platform at our EMS Congress.
Selection process: Among the submitted applications, the five best ideas, topics and most relevant workshops will be selected by our EMS Lab committee and faculty. Focus will be on relevance for EMS, patients, EMS providers, and our communities. Priorities include clinical relevance, clear learning objectives, interactivity, and feasibility within the framework.
EMS Labs are mini workshops that practically and interactively cover a topic in only 45 minutes. Each workshop session will be repeated 4 times. A total of 5 different EMS Labs will be offered to delegates.
To introduce all the EMS Labs, we will have a 1-hour plenary session on the morning of the third day of the congress with a ‘Rapid Fire´- session. During this session, the speakers of all EMS Labs will make brief presentations (5-7 minutes) covering the core learnings from their EMS Labs. The idea is to introduce all the delegates to all EMS Labs in a plenary session in the morning. After this session delegates can decide which sessions they want to attend. All EMS Labs will be held multiple times during the day, giving delegates the opportunity to attend more than one EMS Lab.
Your application should include the following: Lab title, contact person (name, title and affiliations), names of additional presenters/facilitators (name, title and affiliations), motivation (100 words or less), learning objectives (100 words or less), outline of the content (200 words or less), previous experience as facilitators (200 words or less), photographs of each presenter/facilitator.
