VOLUNTEERS

EMS Europe is a not-for-profit organisation, dedicated to sharing knowledge, skills and learning throughout the Emergency Medical Services of Europe (and the rest of the world). As a not-for-profit business, our partners and volunteers are an integral part of the international EMS congress.


Without the support of our volunteers, we could not hope to share as much with the EMS community. Volunteers interested in attending EMS2027 are asked to give their time/support to 1.5 days of the congress. For the other 1.5 days of the congress, volunteers are welcome to attend and participate in the congress as delegates.


What’s Included

  • Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in a globally renowned congress for pre-hospital care and to network with industry leaders, without the cost of registration!
  • Additionally, volunteers will receive tea/coffee breaks and lunch each day of the congress. (Please let us know in advance if you have any dietary requirements.)
  • Volunteers will also be welcome to attend the opening reception and morning runs.
  • Travel, accommodation and any associated expenses are not included. Entry to the Gala Dinner is not included but volunteers are welcome to purchase tickets to other social events (e.g. the Gala Dinner) if they wish.
  • All volunteers will receive a certificate of participation.


Orientation

Volunteers will meet at the main entrance to the Gleneagle Arena on Monday 12 April 2027 for orientation. This is an opportunity to get to know the conference organisers and your fellow volunteers. This is also an opportunity to explore the venue before the delegates arrive and to familiarise yourselves with the layout.

We welcome all volunteers, but please let us know in advance if you have any accessibility needs and/or if you require additional support from the organisers.

Responsibilities

  • To assist congress delegates with their registration
  • To provide direction to delegates throughout the venue
  • To assist speakers and panellists with the smooth running of the sessions
  • To provide audience support during any Q&A


A good level of spoken English is desired. Although we welcome volunteers from any country, the universal language of the congress is English.


The deadline for volunteers to submit their expressions of interest to the congress organisers is 1st February 2027.
