ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS

The EMS2027 congress will be a major event within emergency care internationally and your ideas, projects or research studies may be of great interest to the congress participants. The organizing committee of the EMS2027 congress now welcomes you to submit your abstract. Submitted abstracts will be forwarded to the EMS2027 Abstract Committee, who will review and assess all abstracts with focus on the following five aspects:

  • Topic (relevance, originality)
  • Aim (accurately defined)
  • Methods (relevance, clearly described, ethical problems)
  • Results (reporting, adequate statistics)
  • Conclusion (based on findings and aim)

Only abstracts which follow the submission guidelines and are received before the deadline 13 November, 2026 will be taken into consideration by the Abstract Committee. Accepted abstracts will be presented in the format of classic moderated short poster presentations: 2 moderators guiding 8-10 presenters during 3-minute presentations followed by 2 minutes for question and one minute for changing. Selected papers may also be published in an online international peer reviewed journal.

Overall, all accepted abstracts will be presented as e-posters. Furthermore, two additional oral sessions are planned. At both these sessions, each speaker will be given six minutes to present their abstract and afterwards there will be questions from the audience. The best presenters from both categories below are judged by a jury and will receive a prize.

The five best abstracts within “Innovative ideas or methods” will be given the opportunity for an oral presentation. Abstracts may include good examples, ideas or methods worth sharing.

The overall five best scientific abstracts are invited to speak at the session “The Five Best Abstracts – Oral Presentation”.

The Abstract Submission deadline is 13 November, 2026. You will receive information about acceptance of your abstract for presentation in the following weeks.
